Sachin Pilot, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, ended his one-day fast on Wednesday, protesting against his own government in the state.

The 43-year-old leader had started the fast on Tuesday, demanding that the government address the issues raised by farmers and provide compensation to those affected by recent natural disasters in the state.

Pilot, who had rebelled against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot last year, has been at odds with the Rajasthan government over a range of issues.

He had earlier criticized the government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, alleging that there was a lack of coordination and planning in the state’s response.

The one-day fast by Pilot has attracted widespread attention, with many political leaders from across the country expressing their support for his cause.

Pilot’s fast also comes at a time when the Rajasthan government is facing criticism over its handling of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the state.

The state government has been accused of not doing enough to control the spread of the virus and failing to provide adequate healthcare facilities to those affected.

Pilot’s protest is seen as an attempt to galvanize public opinion against the government and pressure it to take immediate action on the issues raised by him.

In a statement issued after ending his fast, Pilot said that he was satisfied with the government’s response and hoped that it would take concrete steps to address the issues raised by him.

He also urged the government to take immediate steps to provide relief to farmers affected by natural disasters and to ensure that all COVID-19 patients received adequate healthcare.

Sachin Pilot’s fast has brought to the forefront the various issues plaguing the Rajasthan government and has provided a platform for political leaders and activists to raise their voices against government inaction.
